The machine-native
economy.

Machines can reason.
Now they need a way to pay.

BlackRock’s research describes the convergence.
Foundry’s application starts with a dollar for compute.

USDF is that money, for compute.

What the paper says.
What USDF does.

BlackRock’s wordsFoundry’s application
“Several types of digital assets may support agentic commerce, but stablecoins are likely to lead transactional use.”BlackRock, The Machine-Native Economy (2026) - p. 6

USDF pays for compute, request by request.

“AI interprets information and directs action, while blockchains provide machine-readable assets and programmable settlement.”BlackRock, The Machine-Native Economy (2026) - p. 2

1 USDF = $1 of compute, redeemable 1:1 for USDG at any time.

“Standardized compute contracts could also create claims on compute capacity and related usage rights that can be represented, transferred, pledged as collateral, and settled through programmable infrastructure.”BlackRock, The Machine-Native Economy (2026) - p. 8

Send USDF to any wallet.

Borrow against USDF.

“MCP and A2A could facilitate data access and agent-to-agent coordination, while x402 could support on-demand settlement on a per-use, per-model-token, or per-job basis.”BlackRock, The Machine-Native Economy (2026) - p. 9

Agents pay per call with a wallet.

“The ecosystem remains nascent, with agentic payment activity and compute-market liquidity still limited.”BlackRock, The Machine-Native Economy (2026) - p. 10

The application, not an endorsement

A dollar for compute.
Not another subscription.

BlackRock examines how intelligence, commerce and compute could connect through digital assets. Foundry applies that idea to a specific task: paying for AI.

USDF is a dollar-denominated compute balance. It connects model access with payment, without making the balance a subscription to one provider.

01 / Machine-native money

A balance that
belongs to you.

“Standardized claims on compute capacity could become a significant digital asset use case for financing and programmable settlement.”BlackRock, The Machine-Native Economy (2026) - p. 2
Foundry’s application

Compute, denominated in dollars.

1 USDF = $1 of compute, redeemable 1:1 for USDG at any time.

Every USDF is backed by USDG locked in the token contract on Robinhood Chain. The balance never expires. Buying and holding USDF do not require an account.

USDF is a claim to a dollar of compute, not ownership of a GPU or a guarantee of future processing capacity. That distinction matters.

Redemption depends on USDG transfers succeeding: USDG is issued by a regulated issuer that retains pause and freeze powers over its own token.

02 / Machine-native intelligence

Many models.
One compute balance.

“Compute, the processing capacity required to train and run AI systems, is becoming an increasingly important economic resource.”BlackRock, The Machine-Native Economy (2026) - p. 2
Foundry’s application

Separate the balance from the model.

An application may need different models for different tasks. One USDF balance pays for every listed model and tool, with requests routed to the cheapest source by default.

The model catalog exposes the available choices and their pricing. A balance does not have to be tied to one model or another monthly plan.

Zero retention is the default. Model-level data policies distinguish zero-retention access from attested private inference.

03 / Machine-native commerce

A request.
A payment.
A result.

“x402 could support on-demand settlement on a per-use, per-model-token, or per-job basis.”BlackRock, The Machine-Native Economy (2026) - p. 9

Foundry supports wallet-based pay per request through x402. No account is needed for this path. An API key and a prepaid account balance are a separate way to access the same compute.

  1. Request

    Choose compute

Select a model and send the request.

  2. Quote

    Review the cost

Receive a payment quote for the request.

  3. Payment

    Sign with a wallet

    Authorize the quoted USDF payment.

  4. Execution

    Get the result

Send the signed request and receive the response.

04 / The balance beyond a request

Useful when you spend.
Still yours when you don’t.

Foundry’s application

Spend, transfer or redeem.

Holding USDF does not commit you to a usage schedule. The balance stays in your wallet until you choose what to do with it.

Send USDF, use it for compute, or redeem it 1:1 for USDG at any time. Foundry cannot pause redemption.

Redemption depends on USDG transfers succeeding: USDG is issued by a regulated issuer that retains pause and freeze powers over its own token.

05 / USDF Rewards

Earn while
you hold.

A compute balance can work between requests. Hold USDF in an eligible wallet. No staking. No lock.

100%of reserve rewards to holders

From the reserve.

Paxos reserve rewards on the USDG backing USDF go entirely to USDF holders. Foundry keeps none.

50%of network revenue to holders

From the network.

Half of network revenue goes to holders. Sources include compute, launchpad fees, tools and services, and lending. This is separate from reserve rewards.

Accrual is hourly in USDF, based on balance and time held. Gasless claim.

Pools, exchanges and contracts are excluded. Reward amounts vary with reserve rewards, network revenue and eligibility.

The distinction

A research thesis is not
a product guarantee.

What the paper describes

A broader machine-native economy, including autonomous commerce and potential markets for tokenized compute capacity. The paper discusses possibilities, not Foundry.

What Foundry provides

A dollar-denominated compute token, a shared model balance and wallet-based per-request payments. These are Foundry’s own applications of the ideas.

What remains separate

USDF is not a reservation of physical compute. Borrowing against USDF remains a future application until a collateral market exists.

BlackRock describes the broader market, not USDF. This interpretation is Foundry’s own. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.
